Why does it seem that fate loves to play pranks at the worst possible times?

I FINALLy found a sweet, caring girl thats interested in me. With the chaos that ensued before this, you would thing it would be clear sailing, right? WRONG!!!!

Now, it seems that everyone is warning me against her. One person has even called her a "stupid, immature little bitch". But in talking to her, I dont sense that. She seems to really want get to know me.

I believe part of the problem is that her ex has been spreading rumors about her. From what I know, hes a bit of a charmer and very manipulative. Certain circumstances of her past, which I will not name, lead me to believe her side of the story rather than her ex.

What will I do know? Same thing I always do...follow it to the end as fast as I can. Maybe be a beautiful countryside at the other end, or a brick wall. Either way, this suffering will end quickly.
